Towards Understandable Software
Anna Liberty
Programming sucks. Code sucks. It's hard to read, hard to test, and hard to maintain. Only a handful of people can understand any particular software project. All users deserve to be able to control their own software, regardless of their capacity to code. Because of this, we should develop tools for visual, literate, and natural language programming that lets anyone instruct their computers what to do without relying on LLMs and Generative "AI".
