AsciiDoc is a great text tool for documentation from simple notes to books. Asci

Attendees will become familiar with use cases, document conversion, and basic syntax.

After attending this session, audience members will be familiar with basic AsciiDoc syntax and exporting to different backend formats. They will also learn advantages and disadvantages of AsciiDoc and Markdown.

Hans has co-chaired Open Source Career Day (OSCD) at Southern California
Linux Expo (SCaLE) and the Finance and Partnership committees for
SeaGL.
Hans presents and gives career counseling sessions at community-led
conferences (SCaLE, SeaGL, Tux-Tage, Kielux, GeekBeacon Fest, FOSSASIA,
LCA, LFNW, Tübix, OLF ) and many local groups. Hans is chairperson of
the Phoenix Linux User Group (PLUG) and founder of the Free Software
Stammtisch.
To stave off insolvency Hans manages a team of 24/7 database support engineers.
